Community Sponsorship Program:

Monthly Kitchen Sponsorships

We are looking for businesses, congregations, organizations, families, and individuals to sponsor one month of Food n’ Friends kitchens.

As businesses, civic groups, and houses of worship look for meaningful ways to give back, we offer a unique opportunity that provides simultaneous benefits:

  • Support our work and join our mission to fight food insecurity.
  • Grow recognition of your business, group, or congregation’s values through customized marketing and community visibility.
  • Directly impact neighbors who rely on Food n’ Friends’ nutritious meals and welcoming social spaces.

Sponsorships help cover the rising costs of food, packaging, and kitchen supplies. In turn, we highlight our sponsors as caring community members making a real impact.

Supporting Our Work,

Joining Our Mission.

There’s a lot that goes into making our kitchens run. Here are just a few of our monthly costs.

  • Food Purchases
  • Packaging & Supplies
  • Delivery Van
  • $9,549/month
  • $1,577/month
  • $623/month

Food Purchases

Each month, our volunteer kitchen coordinators order fresh produce, proteins, dry goods, and staples from local vendors and the Greater Boston Food Bank. We follow FDA guidelines to provide balanced meals — including protein, fruit, vegetable, water, and a grain — which may be the only meal some guests receive that day.

Packaging and Supplies

To reach as many people as possible, we offer both sit-down and grab-and-go meals. We prepare all food to Health Department standards and equip sites with hand sanitizer, gloves, soap, and both reusable and disposable supplies. Guests receive water bottles, cutlery, napkins, packaging, and meal bags.

Delivery Van

We use a cargo van and monthly rental truck to transport food and kitchen supplies. Each week, we transport meals between kitchens and serving sites; bring meals to the Ascension House emergency shelter, and pick up food donations and supplies. Each month, we transport 1500-2000 lbs of discounted food items from the Greater Boston Food Bank.
